Incline Conveyor
The inclined belt conveyor is a special conveying equipment that can achieve continuous transportation of bulk materials under a large inclination angle. Its core feature lies in breaking through the angle limitation of ordinary belt conveyors
The inclined belt conveyor (also known as the inclined belt type conveyor) is a special type of belt conveyor that can achieve continuous transportation of bulk materials at a large inclination angle. It is a specialized equipment. It uses a special structure of conveyor belt (such as the corrugated edge conveyor belt, composed of base belt, edge and cross partition) to utilize the edge to prevent the materials from sliding down and the cross partition to bear the materials. Combined with the corresponding drive device, tensioning device and guiding device, it realizes the stable transportation of materials on the inclined path. It is mainly composed of conveyor belt, drive device, drum, idler, tensioning device, cleaning device frame and accessory components, etc.
Characteristics of the inclined belt conveyor:
Belt width: 500 – 1000mm
Capacity: 6 – 45 cubic meters per hour
Power: 1.5 – 7.5 Kw
It can adapt to large-angle transportation, with a special conveyor belt design, high and continuous transportation efficiency, strong adaptability to materials, relatively simple structure, convenient maintenance, and certain speed regulation capability.
Applications of the inclined belt conveyor:
The inclined belt conveyor is a conveying equipment that can transport materials at a large inclination angle. Its unique design enables it to have wide applications in multiple industries and scenarios.
1. In the mining industry, the inclined belt conveyor plays an important role. During mining operations, ore needs to be transported from underground or open-pit mining sites to different areas such as beneficiation plants and crushing workshops. The mining terrain is often complex and has a large height difference. The inclined belt conveyor can adapt to this terrain feature, efficiently transporting ore from lower to higher areas, or completing material transportation in inclined tunnels and slopes.
Advantages: Significantly improves the transportation efficiency of the mine and reduces dependence on terrain.
2. The construction industry is also an important application field of the inclined belt conveyor. During construction, there will be a large amount of sand, stone, concrete and other construction materials, as well as construction waste that needs to be transported and processed. When the construction site has a steep slope area, traditional horizontal or small-inclination conveying equipment is difficult to meet the requirements. The inclined belt conveyor can easily cope with it, transporting construction materials from the storage point to the construction floor or operation area, and also transporting construction waste from a high place to the designated processing area, ensuring the smooth progress of construction.
Advantages: Breaking through the limitations of traditional horizontal or small-inclination belt conveyor transportation.
3. In the metallurgical industry, various raw materials such as coke, iron ore, steel slag need to be transported during the smelting process. These materials often have certain temperatures and weights, and the transportation path may have a large inclination angle. The inclined belt conveyor can withstand the high temperature and wear of the materials, stably transporting raw materials to the smelting furnace, storage bin, etc. Advantages: Ensuring the continuity and stability of metallurgical production.
4. In the grain processing industry, the inclined belt conveyor can be used for transporting grains, flour, etc. In the grain storage and processing process, grains need to be transported from the low warehouse to the processing equipment or storage bins, and the inclined belt conveyor can achieve vertical or large-angle lifting transportation.
Advantages: Effectively avoiding the scattering and contamination of grains during transportation, ensuring the quality of grains.
5. In ports and docks, the inclined belt conveyor is often used for the loading and unloading operations of bulk materials. Ports need to handle a large amount of coal, ore, fertilizer, etc. as bulk goods, which need to be unloaded from cargo ships to the dock storage area or loaded onto cargo ships, and the loading and unloading area of the port may have a certain slope. The inclined belt conveyor can efficiently complete the inclined transportation of these materials.
Advantages: Improving the loading and unloading efficiency of the port and reducing transportation costs.
This design retains the advantages of continuous transportation and high efficiency of the belt conveyor, while solving the problems of material rolling off and low transportation efficiency of ordinary conveying equipment in large-inclination scenarios.
